Decadent, mouthwatering and what the heck, you deserve it! It’s not all naughtiness though as this recipe uses natural sugars and raw cacao.
Chocolate, Walnut & Baked Banana Pancakes
- 1 large Banana
- 1/2 cup Coconut Flour
- 1/2 cup Almond Flour
- 2 cup Hemp Milk (or Almond Milk)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Raw Cacao
- Pinch of Celtic sea salt
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- Handful broken Walnuts
- 3 tsp coconut oil
Slice the banana into pieces and place in a dish, drizzle with some maple syrup and put the dish in a hot oven for 5 mins. Take out of the oven and set aside.
Put all remaining ingredients (except coconut oil) into a blender and mix together to make a batter. Heat a tsp of coconut oil in a pan until very hot (1 tsp per cooking). Use a ladle to pour individual portions into the pan. Cook for 1 mins then turn over and cook for a further 30 -40 secs.
Turn the pancakes onto a plate and then spoon the baked bananas onto the pancakes. Sprinkle some crumbled walnuts over the pancakes and bananas. Serve!
